Well it is finally summer and I need a vacation! I am so glad that you have been able to check out my blog and see some of my pictures, video's and favorite things to go. I am really doing well, and I don't think that I will have much trouble surviving for a long time! I will blog once I return for vacation. For now take care and watch out for any open wounds........or I might just come visit you!!!

I have great news! I am now becoming resistant to Vancomycin! That means that I can keep on growing and spreading to all types of wounds, or opening in the body. There is no stopping me now, I can go on forever if I am able to keep changing and evading the antibiotics. I hope they don't find something new to kill me with, because for now I am doing great!! Look at the picture of me here, I was lucky enough to find a tatoo that didn't heal properly! This is a rare find for me, but I like the different colors!

Today is April 25, 2008

I am getting better at finding ways to resist the antibiotics that they keep trying to kill me with. I have found that what they have been using to treat me recently; Methicillin. Is not working to fight me off anymore and I can survive this treatment quite easily. They have been trying to treat me with a new antibiotic; Vancomycin. Sometimes I am over taken by this medication, other times I am able to change my structure once again and find a way to survive!

Spring is upon us and I am finding it a bit more difficult to find people to visit. I think it is easier to find hosts when it is winter because everyone is in close contact with each other. I can move from person to person from hand shakes, hugs and other forms of contact. I am also really good at living on non-living organisms for quite some time. I could be on door handles, toys, sheets you name it, I can probably stay there for a while until I find another host! Maybe I will go to a day care center today, those kids never remember to wash me off their hands!

My Winter Adventures- February 25, 2008

I am having a wonderful time this winter traveling from schools, to hospital's all over the world. I have to say my most favorite location is most certainly hospitals. I have visited so many different people; babies, people with post-surgical wounds and those who are immune compromised. Sometimes they are able to get rid of me ,but sometimes I get to visit them for a long time! I am able to grow and sometimes even change my structure after they try to get rid of me with certain antibiotics. All and all this winter is shaping up to be a successful one for me!
